I spent hours trying to find a solution to this.

What I did was select all the Magic Bullet Looks files and moved them to the CS6 folder under MediaCore where Twixtor and Sapphire Plug-ins were installed.Īfter I moved then I laughed After Effects and the "Looks" selection was there.

I found that odd since I installed it for CS6. I’ve grouped all the similar corrections to their unique folders.

In this current scene, you can see that I’ve already done a lot of professional post production to the image in Photoshop. Once installed, you can access it through Filter > Magic Bullet > Looks.

What I did not know before was that both After Effects and Vegas Pro have different locations for the Magic Bullet Looks Plug-in. Looks works as a plugin inside your Photoshop installation. Magic Bullet worked perfectly fine for Vegas Pro but I realized that when I went into After Effects I could not located the 'Looks' selection. I went through all these folders and found out that Magic Bullet Looks was installed under the 7.0 folder. So, I downloaded Magic Bullet Looks for After Effects CS6 and Vegas Pro. Under Plug-ins I found folders titled 7.0, CS5, CS5.5, and CS6. So, out of curiosity I went through the other folders under Plug-ins.

Since Magic Bullet Photolooks is no longer updated/maintained, if its running a host or operating system outside of these specifications, the program will not be guaranteed to work as its technically in an unsupported environment. So, I downloaded Magic Bullet Looks for After Effects CS6 and Vegas Pro. Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 Adobe Light Room 3 Adobe Light Room 4 Apple Aperture 3. This is different than the solutions said above but in case anyone is having the same problem, I've figured out a solution for my case. I was having the same problem but I figured out a solution based on the comments I read here.
